A new ride
For a while now I've been considering buying a second vehicle but haven't been able to afford anything. I have the wonderful convenience right now of only being about 5.5 miles from my place of employment. I was originally considering an older VW to compliment my 2002 VW GTI, but lately with being so close to work, I really don't have to worry too much about putting alot of miles on my car, which was the original reason I considered a second mode of transportation. So towards the end of last summer I began to ponder some other ideas. What I came up with is a VESPA/Gas powered Scooter. Yeah, the hell with this whole "crotch roket" phenomenon, just give me a 5HP Turbo Scooter and I'll be ok. I did some research on the net and GS Motorworks seems to have a pretty nice selection.

I'm looking at grabbing a scooter, too. Aprilia Mojito 150. Good to know I'm not the only one around here willing to take-on the SUVs in...more ways than one.
