What you always thought was right

WARNING: IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED STOP READING NOW, THE BRAVE MAY READ ON

I imagine everyone has had that conversation or heard it said in movies, "Imagine if everything you thought to be true, wasn't true." For the first time in my life, I think I experienced a situation where I thought what I had been doing the past 27 years or so was completely normal, only to find out otherwise. Allow me to explain.

It was about a week ago, after some brews in my backyard and I don't even know how the subject came up, but someone mentioned how some people stand when wiping there rear after doing the famous "number 2." This took me by suprise, as well as everyone else in the group. However I was suprised for different reasons. They all found it completely strange that a small portion of the earth's population actually stand up from the toilet seat to wipe themselves. I was suprised to find out that something I've been doing all my life, standing up to wipe, was some how strange.

I guess it's no suprise that everyone would kind of adopt there own way, because as a kid, a parent helped you the first couple times, then you were left to fend for yourself. Some chose the path of sitting, while others chose to stand. For me, I'm a stander and not afraid to admit it, and if Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld ever decided to do one last episode of "Seinfeld," I really believe this entry could serve as a basis for the script.

So let's hear it, who's a sitter and who's a stander?
