It's been a long anxious wait, but after about a week of telephone tag with PC Connection, everything was finalized today. They were able to talk to the last reference that they needed to talk to, and then about an hour later my cell phone rang. They told me the offer and said they would send something in writing by the end of this week. I'm scheduling a trip up there next weekend to look at apartments. Hopefully I'll be able to find something and I would be able to start work at the new job on September 19th.

As strange as things sound I finally feel like I'm doing something for myself. Going to college, I went to the same college my older brother went to, because it was easy on me and my parents, and it was something I was already familiar with. After college I got a job at a place my brother had already worked at for a few years, which he had in turn left to finish school about a year before I started there. However some of his friends that I was also friends with still worked there, so it was an easy in for me.

I'm excited for the move and I'm glad it's finally official. I'll be posting more as I find a place to live and figure out when exactly I'll be moving.
