So after moving to MA. my old AT&T wireless plan that I had in PA had to be switched to a MA. plan. At that time Cingular decided that a comparable MA. plan no longer included free nights and weekends unless I switched to one there plans. That in turn required me to buy a Cingular phone, even though the one I had I was perfectly content with. (Sony Ericsson T616) So last week I made a trip to the Cingular store during my lunch hour and picked up a new phone. As much as I hate spending a lot of money on a phone, I did this time because they also made me sign a new 2 year contract and if I'm going to be locked in that long I want a phone thats going to last. I ended up purchasing another Sony Ericsson and picked up an S710A. The phone is rad so far. The 2.3" display is amazing, and the picture and video capability is a nice added feature. Yes, I said video. It can record video to memory stick and you can also load your own videos on to a memory stick if they are in the right format. Anyone in the market for a new phone I would highly recommend it. The only downsides to the phone are it's rather bulky and the large screen can chew through a battery quickly if you play a lot of games on it.
