The Music Publisher's Association (MPA) is launching a campaign in 2006 against websites offering illegal song scores and lyrics. That's right kids, these crazy ass clowns want you to serve jail time for posting guitar tabs or lyrics. Mr Keiser said he did not just want to shut websites and impose fines, saying if authorities can "throw in some jail time I think we'll be a little more effective". So let me get this right, cover bands can play other peoples music all night long at a bar, make a decent buck, and that's ok, but some kid who posts song lyrics of bands he likes on the web needs to go to jail?
